Kalgan River Chalets & Caravan Park offers you a wide range of accommodation options to suit all of your comfort and budget requirements.The camp grounds has 2 spacious camp kitchen's with numerous appliances, including a Weber, Gas Cooktop and BBQ. There are 2 shower blocks, a disabled bathroom and laundry facilities.
In the Reception Office/Shop, we sell wood, bait, ice, drinks, ice creams and basic grocery items. We also have Barista Style Bean Coffee and Hot Chocolate Machine accessible 24/7

Kalgan River Chalets & Caravan Park

To ensure everyone enjoys their stay and park facilities are respected please take the time to read our park guidelines
  • Facilities | Kalgan River Chalets & Caravan Park
  • Speed Limit is 5 km in the park area and 25 km on the entrance road.
  • One vehicle per site. Additional vehicles can be parked in the visitors carpark. Please ask for directions
  • All Caravan and trailer drawbars must face the roadway from your site (fire and emergency regulations).
  • Visitors please park in Visitors carpark located near the Tennis courts. Evening visitors, please vacate the park by 10pm.
  • Chalets are to be kept in a respectably clean manner. On checkout please place all rubbish in the bins located throughout the park.
  • Campfires are permitted in camp sites only. No fires around the Chalets please. Fire pits are to be and raised and enclosed only. Fire Pits on hire and Wood can be purchased at office.
  • Fire Hoses are not to be used for any other purpose.
  • PetsWe are a Pet friendly park, allowed in your own accommodation when camping. All pets are required to be declared when booking. We accept 2 maximum per site. Please note, they are not permitted in our Cabins, Chalets, Camp Kitchens or Bathrooms. Please ensure they are tethered and on a lead at all times. Pets are not to wander the park freely and are the responsibility of the owner.
  • Sites are to be kept clean and tidy. Please use clothes lines provided.
  • Taking of under-sized fish and feeding them to the pelicans is not permitted. And will result in eviction from the park.
  • No fish to be cleaned on site please use fish cleaning facilities at boat ramp.
  • Boat Ramp and Jetty are on the park grounds and are for park patrons and their guests only
  • Park facilities Shower block, Tennis court, Golf course, gas Pizza Oven, etc are for park patrons and their guests only.
  • Septic tanks & Dump point located next to the large Shower block. Please only use correct chemicals. Please refrain from using Napisan or Vinegar. We are on Septic tanks, and this could cause blockages.
  • Please use pits provided for Grey Water.
  • Children are to be under adult supervision at all times and supervised in shower blocks. All Children, Bikes, scooters etc are to be kept away from Chalets and units. Bicycles, skates, blades, scooters and skate boards are not to be used after dark. Parents are responsible for any damages to buildings if caused by ball games within the park. Children under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult on the golf course.
  • Noise Quiet time is between 10pm and 7am. Please be respectful of all other patrons during this time and keep noise to a minimum
  • Generators are not permitted in this park.
  • Management reserves the right to ask any guest deemed disruptive, aggressive or displaying unruly behaviour to leave the park immediately.
